ARK: Survival Ascended Delayed to October 2023
Studio Wildcard has announced that ARK: Survival Ascended is delaying its release to October 2023. Studio Wildcard’s move to shut down the servers of ARK: Survival Evolved servers has also been postponed to September 30, 2023.
According to Studio Wildcard, the delay is due to complications in working with Unreal Engine 5.2.
We find it challenging to work with Unreal Engine 5.2, but at the same time, it’s very exciting. We’re discovering new ways every day to push the technology to the next level; combined with the work required to support a fully cross-platform modifiable game ecosystem on consoles and PC, it’s clear that we need more time.

Interestingly, Ark: Survival Ascended received a price reduction to 44.99 USD from the previous 49.99 USD, but those who purchased the remastered version on the first day will pay 39.99 USD.
