THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have announced that Alone in the Dark Reboot is delayed from October 25, 2023 to January 16, 2024. The game will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam, GOG).

Below is the official statement from THQ Nordic:

We intend to avoid competing with the release of the epic game Alan and avoid the mesmerizing city skyline graced by the graceful swing of Spider-Man. We aim to truly remain as Alone in the Dark as possible.

In honor of this, the gripping horror game has been rescheduled to reveal its horrors on January 16, 2024.

This extension will serve a dual purpose: not only does it allow us to meticulously fine-tune the gaming experience, but it also gives us the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in October’s amazing release.
