Following claims from Microsoft that Call of Duty: Mobile might be discontinued, Activision announced that it will continue to support the game with major updates for the long term.

We are committed to Call of Duty: Mobile as an important part of the overall Call of Duty franchise and our overall mobile strategy. We have the best fans in the world and intend to continue supporting the game with a strong roadmap for new Call of Duty: Mobile for the long term.

In comments published to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Microsoft revealed that they believe the long-term plan is to replace Call of Duty: Mobile with Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
