miHoYo stated that there are around 500 people developing their latest game, Honkai: Star Rail.

MiHoYo has about 500 game developers working on its next big game, Honkai: Star Rail.

Speaking with Axios, Fish Ling said that around 500 developers are currently developing Honkai: Star Rail.

Ling also revealed that over 10 million people have pre-registered for Honkai: Star Rail, including more than 2.5 million people outside of China.

Like Genshin Impact, miHoYo plans to give Honkai: Star Rail to enjoy the highly detailed and ever-expanding adventure at no cost, while encouraging them to pay for better additional characters.

We intend to run this game, like all our titles, for as long as possible.

When asked by Axios if the April 26, 2023 date seen on the App Store was the release date of Honkai: Star Rail, Ling wouldn’t confirm that it was but said that his team hopes to offer an update on the game soon.

Honkai: Star Rail will be released on iOS, Android, and PC.
