PMGC 2022 (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) will be the final event of the PUBG Mobile competition season in 2022.
The best PUBG Mobile esports teams in the world will compete at PMGC 2022 for the title of 1st place as the best PUBG Mobile team in the world.
Unlike the previous year, PMGC 2022 this time presents many of the best PUBG Mobile teams in the world in one group at once. The PMGC will also no longer use the east-west format and will use a more complex and challenging format.
PMGC 2022 will last for more than 2 months starting from the League phase that begins in November 2022 and ending with the Grand Final in January 2023. The PMGC 2022 location will be divided into two phases, namely the League phase which will be held in Malaysia and the Grand Final phase in Indonesia.
The format used in this PMGC 2022 starts with the League phase which is divided into Group Stage, Survival Stage and ends with Last Chance. After that, it will continue to the next phase, the PMGC 2022 Grand Final.
League – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia(10 November – 4 December 2022)
Group Stage – (10 – 27 November 2022)
A total of 48 teams competed, divided equally into 3 groups (RED, GREEN, and YELLOW) of 16 teams.
Each group will play in a specific week, with each week consisting of 4 match days.
Each matchday consists of 6 matches for a total of 24 matches per week.
The top 3 teams from each group will automatically advance to the Grand Final.
The 4th – 11th Place teams from each group advance to the Survival Stage.
The Bottom 12-16 teams from each group will be eliminated.
The 48 teams competing in PMGC 2022 will be vying for 1st place and a total prize pool of $4,000,000 that will be split evenly across each phase from the League to the Grand Final.
